RegPoints Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the https://alpha.regpoints.fr and https://regpoints.fr website (the "Service") operated by us.

By accessing and using RegPoints, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

Account Requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use RegPoints
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Email Verification:

• A valid email address is required for account verification
• Certain features may be restricted until email verification is complete

Regiment registration is currently by invitation only. When registering a regiment:

• You should provide accurate regiment information
• You become the regiment owner with full administrative privileges
• You are responsible for managing your regiment's members and content
• Regiment names and descriptions must be appropriate and non-offensive

You agree NOT to use RegPoints to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Upload or share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission
• Impersonate others or provide false information

Content Guidelines:

• Regiment names, descriptions, and member names must be appropriate
• Patrol notes and awards content should be relevant and professional
• Discord integration content must comply with Discord's Terms of Service

Data Collection:

• We collect information you provide during registration and use
• Usage data and logs may be collected for system maintenance
• Discord integration may collect Discord user IDs and usernames

Data Use:

• Your data is used to provide and improve the service
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
• Regiment data is visible to other members of your regiment
• System logs may be reviewed for security and troubleshooting purposes
• Developers will not access any regiment data unless for maintenance purposes
  or if agreement given by the regiment owner.

When using Discord bot features:

• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Bot commands and webhooks are provided as-is
• Discord server owners are responsible for bot permissions and usage
• We are not responsible for Discord service interruptions

• RegPoints is provided "as-is" without guarantees of uptime
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
• Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service
• This service is planned to work for at least the next 5 years.

Regiment Owners:

• Responsible for managing regiment members and permissions
• Must ensure regiment content complies with these terms
• Should regularly back up important regiment data

All Users:

• Keep account information current and secure
• Report bugs and security issues responsibly
• Respect other users and maintain professional conduct

• The service is provided “as‑is” and “as‑available” without any warranties, express or implied.
• Liability is excluded for all damages except in cases of proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
• Because the service is free, the maximum liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the user (i.e., €0).
• RegPoints is offered completely free of charge.
  You may stop using it at any time without any fee or obligation.
  Because no payment is required, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.

We may terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Abusive or harmful behavior
• Extended inactivity
• Legal or security concerns

Upon termination:

• Access to your account will be revoked
• Data may be deleted after a reasonable period
• You may request data export before deletion

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made:

• The "Last Updated" date will be changed
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms
• Major changes may be announced via the platform or Discord

Severability: If any provision is deemed invalid, the remainder stays effective.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any annexes constitute the whole agreement.
Language: The French version prevails over any translation.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: French law governs; exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Paris.
